DAN BALDOCCHI - Dan is an underwater video expert and will be leading the video section of the Shootout. He will offer seminars on HD video cameras, housing set-up and use, and shooting techniques.

MARY-LYNN PRICE - Mary Lynn Price is a video journalist and Apple certified pro in Final Cut Pro 7. She is the executive producer of the iTunes featured podcast, DiveFilm HD Video, and is a founding organizer of the San Diego UnderSea Film Exhibition. Mary Lynn will be focusing on video editing and storytelling, and sharing video via video sharing websites such as YouTube and Vimeo, as well as social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Whether you are a new videographer wanting to get started creating short videos to share, or an experienced videographer wanting to improve your editing and storytelling, Mary Lynn will help you take your video production skills to the next level through her fast-paced presentations and individualized assistance. |

STERLING ZUMBRUNN - Sterling Zumbrunn is the Chief Technical Officer for Backscatter and an active professional photographer focusing on marine species and habitats, as well as the threats they face in the twenty-first century. Formerly the Director of Photography for Conservation International, he has been pursuing underwater photography for the last ten years, and has more recently focused on underwater videography with the advent of the video DSLR revolution.
In addition to freelance photography and technology consulting, Sterling is serving as Online Marketing Evangelist for Backscatter, and Associate Editor for Wetpixel.com. He is an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop Lightroom, having worked with the software since its early beta releases, and has led workshops on photography and digital workflow to students around the globe. At the Shootout, Sterling will focus on using Lightroom 3 to download, back up, organize and edit your digital assets.

JIM DECKER - As the CEO of Backscatter, Jim is one of the top experts in the world on underwater photo and video equipment and shooting technique.
