The legacy of WACP-1 continues with the updated WACP-1B. This compact and lightweight optic integrates a built-in buoyancy collar and offers a user-interchangeable port mount from N120 to N100. Unlike traditional ports or wet-mate corrective wide-angle optics, the WACP-1B is a “dry” corrective optic that modifies a 28mm equivalent lens to an exceptionally sharp 130°. The WACP can focus from its front element to infinity underwater, enabling extremely close-focus wide-angle shooting. When paired with specific zoom lenses, the WACP provides a range of field-of-view options. Corner sharpness is significantly enhanced over traditional dome ports, enabling a broader range of usable apertures. The WACP supports a diverse range of lenses, including both primes and zooms for Nikon, Canon, and Sony, as well as Super35 Cinema Systems.
