Backscatter Hybrid Flash Underwater Strobe Video Light HF-1

The Backscatter Hybrid Flash has been great this trip for its versatility. With the ability to change color temperatures for different shooting situations, add or remove diffusers for wider or narrower beam patterns, use the video light for nighttime slow shutter drag shots, or fluoro photography, it can handle almost anything. Some might say that it can’t handle snooting yet but that is about to change. I was testing a prototype snoot that we hope to have released in the near future. It has a longer working distance than the OS-1 snoot for the Mini Flash, and will allow for shooting subjects further away, like fish portrait snoot shots. Stay tuned, this is coming to a Backscatter dealer near you very soon.
