GEAR TESTS: RGBLUE System 2 Underwater Video Light

The RGBlue System 2 light is the second light from RGBlue. The System 2 puts out 2500 lumens for 90 minutes with a 100 degree beam and a CRI of 80. I used it this week with the Olympus TG-3 to shoot macro stills and video with the light in place of a strobe. Needless to say, I had plenty of light! I had no problem knocking out ambient light at 30 feet to get only the light from the RGBlue on the scene. The light looked great with good color rendition and temperature making the videos and photos look natural. The burn time was such that I didn't need to recharge for the whole day.
